Updated: Nov 23, 2020

Hey Feminists!

Today I have a great opportunity for you to share some of your own feminist work. My sister and admired writer Megan Sheckells is the head editor for Ripple, a feminist zine published each semester at University of Maine, Farmington.

She's looking for submissions for the magazine, it could be writing, prose, poetry, art, and photography for the Fall issue!

Here's a statement she sent out!

"Hi everyone! My name is Megan Sheckells, and I’m the current editor of Ripple zine for Fall 2020. Ripple is a feminist zine at the University of Maine at Farmington. We’re currently seeking submissions relating to topics of feminism, gender, sexuality, social justice and more. Submissions are open to undergraduates from all universities and colleges. If you want to check us out you can find us on Facebook by clicking here."

The deadline is October 9th 2020. The work could cover any range of feminist topics including but not limited to gender, sexuality, race, abortion access, voter registration or what it means to be a feminist!

Submissions and questions can be sent to Ripplezine@gmail.com

Here's the website for Ripple! It has old issues available if you want to learn more!
